The Technological University of Panama (UTP) is the state institution of higher hierarchy in higher education that scientific and technological concerns in Panama. Arises from the old School of Engineering at the University of Panama, which in 1975 became the Polytechnic Institute and, in need of a new university model is transformed into the Technological University of Panama by Law 18 of 13 August, 1981.
